Hotel Astel has a rich history and the Eerebout family has been its owner since 2012. They have completely renovated the hotel and restored it to its former glory.
Hotel Astel is now known as a stylish four-star hotel on the Belgian coast. The perfect place for couples and families. Its diverse range of room types ranging from intimate double rooms to spacious family suites guarantees that every stay will entail a warm welcome and will feel like a comfortable seaside home.

Hotel Astel is only 100 metres from the beach and offers the perfect base for a revitalising walk on the beach, a day building sand castles or watching a romantic sunset. It is hard to miss that the hotel is located in De Haan, a coastal gem that boasts a rich Belle-Époque architectural history.
Hotel Astel, built in the late 1920s, exudes the charming style of this period. The “De Concessie” (The Concession) district where the hotel can be found, has now been recognised as a listed urban conservation area.

Our welcoming brasserie is open daily from Monday to Sunday (closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays) from 11 a.m.
The kitchen is open continuously from 12 noon to 7:30 p.m. to ensure you can enjoy delicious dishes in an attractive setting at any time of the day.
